Daylight - or lack of it..
Last weekend the clocks went back. Another sure sign winter is coming up. Norway is of course a country with huge differences in climate and weather conditions. In the far, far northern part of the country daylight is now gone for the year. Here in the west the sun comes up around 8 in the morning and goes down at 16.30. And we will have daylight for a few hours throughout the year. Autumn is a time of rain and grey clouds in these parts, and in addition we have the mountains surrounding Bergen which makes it all the more darker. It is a fasciniating time, and it can bring in a lot of fasciniating weather. Like a severe thunderstorm we had earlier this week.
